Rob Price
Director
Rob has worked at Galebest for 24 years minus a relatively short stint in the army. Rob started work as an apprentice in heavy vehicle mechanics. He gained his HGV licenses and spent some time driving the trucks. Rob is now one of the directors. His main role is to manage projects from start to finish, liaising with customers, coordinating staff and machinery. When Rob’s not working he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He loves keeping active and takes part in CrossFit, Rugby and Running.
Alan Price
Director
Alan is one of the founders and directors of Galebest. Alan started his career repairing agricultural and plant machinery at TCHarrisons JCB at 15 years old. After many years of gaining knowledge and experience Alan left TCHarrisons to go self employed, continuing work on farming equipment. Alan went into the repair and refurbishment of machinery. He had various people approach him to see if he would hire out the machinery, which he agreed. Over the last 40 years Alan has built the business and added to the fleet. Today Alan is involved in the day to day running of Galebest and deals with the purchasing and selling of machinery. In his spare time Alan enjoys gardening, walking and holidays.
Elaine Barnett
Director
Elaine is one of the founders and directors of Galebest. Her first job was at Cole Brothers Sheffield, working in accounts. Gaining knowledge over years Elaine stayed here until becoming one of the partners at Galebest. Elaine’s role over the years has stayed within the accounts department of the business. Her other roles include stocking up on snacks and treats for all of the guys! Elaine is starting to take some more time away from work to enjoy holidays and to spend time with family and friends.
Harry Price
PLANT HIRE MANAGER
Harry joined Galebest 11 years ago working in the waste transfer department of the company. Harry is now the plant hire manager of the company. His current role involves speaking to customers, coordinating transport and ensuring jobs run smoothly. Outside of work Harry enjoys gaming and follows Formula 1 closely.
Shelley Seemley
FINANCE OFFICER
Shelley is the finance officer at Galebest. Shelley has worked at Galebest for 6 years and gets involved with much more than just finance in the office! When not at work, she loves to go on holiday and has recently found a love of the gym and cooking.
Chris Morton
EXCAVATION OPERATOR
Chris is Galebest’s longest serving employee at 36 years. Chris is one of our excavator operators. In the past he specialised in working on the maintenance of gas pipe lines. Over the past few years Chris has increasingly spent more time creating new Wildlife Ponds around the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area. In his spare time Chris enjoys socialising with friends, breaks in his caravan and dog walking.
Rob Massey
Excavator Operator
Rob has been working for Galebest for 24 years and has been operating machinery for over 40 years. He is the comedian of the company, always telling jokes and wearing funny wigs! Rob has experience in working on utilities, housing sites and wildlife areas. In his spare time he enjoys restoring classic cars and vintage toys.
Neil Weston
Excavator Operator
Neil has worked for Galebest for over 30 years and operated plant for nearly 40 years. Neil spends most of his time working on industrial builds but has experience in all areas of construction. In his spare time Neil enjoys Badminton and Gardening.
David Williams
HGV Driver
David or more well known as “Squeaky” has worked for Galebest for over 10 years. David has worked in the construction industry for over 40 years. He transports all of our machinery, covering many miles around the UK each week. Outside of work David enjoys spending time with family, walking in the Peaks and breaks in his caravan.
Jeff Kerry
Excavator Operator
Jeff has worked for Galebest for 24 years. With a huge experience in many aspects of construction. Outside of work Jeff enjoys Badminton, DIY and breaks in his caravan.
Wayne Haycock
Excavator Operator
Wayne is our newest operator to join the team. Wayne has been operating machinery for nearly 30 years. Since joining us he has completed a variety of jobs including most recently the installation of a badger sett for a wildlife conservation company. At the weekends Wayne enjoy Gaming and breaks with the family in his caravan.
Dave Darrell
HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANIC
Dave has been with Galebest for 9 years. Originally came as a HGV tipper driver. More recently Dave is now one of the heavy vehicle mechanics. Repairing and maintaining our fleet of machinery and trucks. In his spare time Dave enjoys working on his monster truck and getting away in his caravan.
Mark Clare
HEAVY VEHICLE MECHANIC
Mark is one of our heavy vehicle mechanics. Mark has been working on trucks, machinery and buses for over 40 years. In his spare time Mark enjoys holidays, walk and spending time with his family.
Steve Barlow
Excavator Operator
Steve has worked for Galebest for nearly 30 years. Steve is one of our machine operators with experience in every aspect of excavation. Most recently completing a project in Sheffield that involved the use of a long reach machine, working on a river to create riffles and new wildlife ponds. In his spare time Steve enjoys DIY and spending time with family and friends.
Nick Sattoris
HGV Driver
Nick has been driving our grab truck for 10 years, with a total of 36 years experience in the construction industry. Outside of work Nick enjoys spending time with family, dog walks and talking to his parrot.
